Bandai Namco has announced a massive 4th anniversary update for Dragon Ball FighterZ, the critically acclaimed fighting game that has become a staple of the competitive gaming scene. This update promises to breathe new life into the game with a host of new features and content.
New Characters
The anniversary update will introduce five new characters to the game’s roster:

Ultra Instinct Goku (Mastered): The complete version of Goku’s Ultra Instinct form, featuring enhanced speed and power.

Cross-Platform Play

System Requirements Update
With the graphical enhancements, the PC version of the game will receive updated system requirements. However, Bandai Namco has stated that they are committed to maintaining compatibility with older hardware as much as possible.
Future Plans
Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ will continue to receive support beyond the 4th anniversary update. They have hinted at additional characters and content being released throughout 2026 and into 2027.
